Admissions
Thank you for your interest in Sudie L. Williams Talented & Gifted Academy (Sudie TAG), a public magnet intermediate school in Dallas ISD. Sudie TAG enrolls approximately 450 students in grades 4th through 8th. Sudie TAG is located just east of Love Field Airport, north of Lovers Lane.
This year, Sudie TAG has 90 openings for students applying for 4th grade. In addition, current 4th-7th grade students may apply. As a Dallas ISD public school, residents within DISD are given priority in the application process. Once all qualified in-district applicants have been admitted, out-of-district students may be considered.
EHBJ (LOCAL): For each magnet program, all qualified in-district students shall be served before any out-of-district student may gain admission into that magnet program. Proof of residence must be submitted each year. Falsifying information on the Magnet application will invalidate the application, and the student's application will be excluded from the selection process. The Dallas Independent School District reserves the right to change a student's enrollment status, placement and/or programming upon receipt of additional information.
